Building a PC soon? Well, here are some few budget friendly options which you may want to consider!

5. AMD FX 6300

This is an excellent choice for people who are on a tight budget as these can be picked up for fairly cheap (roughly around £60). The AM3+ Socket motherboards can also be obtained for a lot cheaper now due to newer CPU's. This would good option for entry-level gaming as it comes with 6 cores at 3.5Ghz. Which isn't amazing but for the price you can't complain!

4. AMD Ryzen 3 1200

Coming slightly a bit more expensive than the FX-6300 is the Ryzen 3 1200 which can be obtained for only £90. Coming with 4-cores and 4-threads clocked at 3.1Ghz, this may seem little but when overclocked this cpu can become a beast and even outperform an i5-7400!

Warning you will need a B350 or X370 motherboard to be able to overclock.

3. AMD Ryzen 3 1300X

Slightly more expensive than the Ryzen 3 1200 at £110. This CPU value is killer even if it isn't overclocked. I would recommend this over a Ryzen 3 1200 if you aren't planning to overclock as the clock speed on this CPU is 3.5Ghz!

2. Intel I3-8100

The new Intel i3 lineup is a amazing value if you can obtain one for £100. The i3-8100 overall is faster in games compared to an stock Ryzen 3 1200. The only problem with this CPU is that it is hard to find the CPU going for £100 but if one is found for that MSRP it is definitely a steal.

1. Intel i5-8400

Coming at an amazing value of £140 you get 6-cores, 6-threads clocked at 2.8Ghz (4.0Ghz Turbo). This CPU will be able to out-perform many CPUs in its price range so it is a definite pickup if you can get one!
